Billie Piper: My London

The actress and singer buys her jeans and flip-flops from Harvey Nichols and her sausages on a stick at The Grenadier pub

Where do you live and why?

Belsize Park. My best mates are two streets away, there's a great boozer directly opposite.

What advice would you give to a tourist?

Find a London friend, avoid the tourist traps and get right into the belly of this wonderful city.

What was the last play you saw in London and did you enjoy it?

Buried Child at the National Theatre last year. I had a friend in the show. I felt I should have enjoyed it more than I did.

What are your home comforts?

Candles, lots of soft furnishings and a room full of friends.

Who's in your address book?

The Italian deli Salvino's on Brecknock Road in Kentish Town, Camden Market, a butcher's in Primrose Hill called Barrett's.

Do you have a favourite pub?

The Grenadier in Belgravia. They do great sausages on a stick.

What's your summer wardrobe?

Cotton vests, Seven For All Mankind jeans and decorated flip- flops, all from Harvey Nicks.

What is your life philosophy?

I'm still working it out.
